Lyndonville Dam | Historic Preservation

Villager Construction was contacted by the Village of Lyndonville for repairs needed on their historic dam built in 1947. The initial scope of work was to replace the slide gates for flood control. After draining the water from the face of the dam, it was clear that more work needed to be done than originally planned. Villager Construction stepped up to the task and reinforced the dam with a new concrete structure to strengthen the dam and hold the new slide gates. The 14 cubic yard concrete structure was casted in one pour with the help of Orleans Ready Mix.
