Medina Wastewater Treatment Plant

Villager Construction was contracted to replace six Rotating Biological Contactors at the Medina Wastewater Treatment Plant. The RBC process allows the wastewater to come in contact with a biological medium in order to remove pollutants in the wastewater before discharge of the treated wastewater to the environment. The contract also consisted of constructing a new building to enclose two new air blowers that provided aeration under the new RBC wheels. The aeration process allows for a greater performance in the treatment process.
