Scottsville & Elmwood

The Scottsville Road – Elmwood Avenue Improvement Project consists of 1.25 miles of city roadway restoration. The work on the project includes pavement repairs, granite curb replacement, sidewalk repair, water service replacements and new pavement markings. The pavement repairs will utilize a state-of-the-art milling machine to remove asphalt at different depths as needed to restore the structural integrity of the roadway. Sidewalks that have tripping hazards or are not ADA compliant will be replaced and made compliant. All new water service lines will be installed to each residence and then the entire 4 lane roadway will be given a new asphalt surface with new pavement markings.
